The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended it’s ongoing strike by 4 weeks.
Recall that the union had launched right into a nationwide strike on February 14. This strike was rolled over by 8 weeks on March 14. Upon seeing that the Federal Government was reluctant in attending to their requires, ASUU extended the strike as quickly as as soon as extra by 12 weeks inside the month of May.
The union took the selection to extend the continued strike after a gathering of the National Executive Council which handed off on the Comrade Festus Iyayi National Secretariat, University of Abuja, on Sunday.
