Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY) 2023

Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana is benefiting the Goa state people irrespective of their financial Status. Goa is the 1st state to have a health insurance scheme which will benefit all residents of the state irrespective of their financial status. Any person residing in Goa for 5 year or more can enroll into the scheme.

DDSSY Scheme 2023 to provide Universal Health cover through Insurance for the entire Resident Population of Goa. Welfare of the people of state is endeavor of any Government and to achieve this end, the social security net requires further strengthening. As a result, the state government announced “Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana” in its state budget to provide a health cover through an insurance policy scheme to the entire resident population of the state.

DDSSY Scheme 2023 – The State of Goa created the current program to help individuals receive high-quality medical care and treatment for illnesses, hospitalization, and surgery through public and private hospitals and to advance medical services.

Features of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana

Some of the key features of the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSY) 2023 are as follows:

• The beneficiaries of DDSSY Scheme 2023 will receive benefits on a cashless basis up to the yearly coverage cap, which is as follows:
• Members of the family may use the insurance benefit either individually or collectively.
• For families with three or less people, the insurance coverage may be up to Rs. 2.50 lakhs annually, and for families with four or more members, it may be up to Rs. 4 lakhs annually. The claim would never be more than Rs. 4.00 lakhs every year.
• An individual is free to choose a greater level of coverage from the insurance company by paying a higher premium, with no consequences for public facilities and policy.

Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana Eligibility

• Any person residing in the State of Goa for 5 years or more is eligible for enrollment under DDSSY.
  “Family” of eligible person is defined as his/her Spouse and Unmarried children and Dependent Parent(s) / In-Laws (Incase eligible Family person is female). This Family unit cannot be split.
• Central/State Government employees and their families covered under government medical reimbursement are not eligible under DDSSY.

Following Self attested photocopies of original documents to be attached along with the forms.

• Aadhaar Card / Enrollment Acknowledgement Slip of every family member above age of 5 years. (Compulsory)
• Residence Proof of eligible person
• Passport
• Residence Certificate (5 years residence in goa state)
• Voter ID
• Driving License
• Ration card to define a family.

Procedure to Use the Scheme’s Benefits

DDSSY Scheme 2023 – The recipient may speak with any Empaneled Health Care Provider (EHCP) on the website’s roster. The patient can approach the DDSSY Sahayak at the hospital with the Card if the surgery is covered by the scheme and is offered at the specified EHCP and the Sahayak will raise a request for pre-authorization to the ISA pre-authorization physician after conferring with the doctor.

If the beneficiary is informed of the procedure, they can also check the website to see which EHCP performs it and then go to the hospital of their choosing from the list of EHCPs authorized to execute the surgery.

Exclusions to the DDSSY Policy

Government employees will not be covered under Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana
any procedure not included in the list of 447 procedures will not be covered under DDSSY Scheme 2023.

register through the official website, and the process is given as:

• Open the official website of the Yojana.
• The homepage will be displayed on the screen.

• Now click on the generate OTP option.
• An OTP will be received on your provided mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and move forward.
